Seasonal Nature Events

The mission of Petra Cliffs’ Nature Education Program is to encourage greater understanding and appreciation for our local recreation areas. When we spend time in nature it can be easy to take the rocks we climb and trees we admire for granted. Our natural playgrounds are under threat from climate change, development, and overuse. The Nature Education Program aims to educate our community about the local history, and the ecology of Vermont to help encourage a sense of place. Join our staff nature educators for multi-season nature walks to become better stewards of the outdoors.

Private Outings

Our goal is to get you outside to learn about the natural world however works for you. We can either tailor a past program for your group or run a custom program in a location of your choice. Email geneo@ petracliffs.com for more information, pricing and availability.
