Petra Cliffs is for Everyone

Is This Clinic / Program For Me? : "Femme's & Women's Clinic"

These terms can mean many things to different people, and thus we do not want to exclude anyone who may be unsure of whether they "fit" the label. Rather, we would like to offer space specifically for folks who may identify with or are exploring their identity. This includes female or femme, non-binary, trans, and cis-gender (a person whose gender aligns with the sex they were assigned at birth) folks.

Gender Neutral Restroom Policy: Inclusive & Non-Discriminatory

Petra Cliffs is committed to having safe and accessible public restroom facilities. We recommend that individuals make choices about restroom usage based on their own level of comfort and their gender identity or expression. Unfortunately, we do not have single-stall restrooms at this time; however, we expect all Patrons to be respectful toward one another. Petra Cliffs prohibits and will not tolerate harassment and discrimination against any person because of sex, sexual orientation, or gender identity. Petra Cliffs will take prompt and effective steps to end any reported harassment and prevent its recurrence.

Land Acknowledgement

We collectively acknowledge that Petra Cliffs, and the immediate areas in which we operate and recreate outdoors, are located on the traditional, ancestral, and contemporary lands of Indigenous people. Petra Cliffs resides on land that was cared for and called home by the Abenaki people and the Wabanaki Confederacy; before them, other Native peoples from time immemorial. This land holds great historical, spiritual, and personal significance for its original stewards, the Native nations and peoples of this region. We recognize and continually support and advocate for the sovereignty of the Native nations in this territory and beyond. By offering this land acknowledgment, we affirm tribal sovereignty and will work to hold Petra Cliffs accountable to American Indian peoples and nations.
