Day Camps

More than just a rock climbing camp, Petra Cliffs SumMAT (Summer “Mountain Adventure Training”) Camps provides a variety of opportunities for campers to challenge themselves mentally and physically through daily outdoor adventures.

Beginning in Summer 2026, we are expanding our Day Camp programs to include a climbing-specific day camp option alongside our beloved multi-sport “Classic SumMAT Camp” option.

In our Classic SumMAT Camp, each day is a new adventure! Campers have a chance to go kayaking, caving, rock climbing, do challenge courses, and more. Through these activities, Petra Cliffs campers work to build self-esteem through healthy risk-taking, develop technical and psychomotor skills, practice conflict resolution, create a sense of connection to the natural world, and have lots of fun along the way!

Indoor Climbing(?), Bouldering, BAC, Bolton Dome, Lower West

Requirements: at least one session of our Classic Day Camp

Ages: 10 and up
