AMGA Single Pitch Instructor, Apprentice Rock Guide

Jack is a 2020 graduate from the University of Vermont with a B.S. in Environmental Science. He is a certified Single Pitch Instructor and Apprentice Rock Guide who is pursuing the rest of the AMGA rock guide track. Helping people practice things like technical rescue skills, how to climb multi-pitch, or how to effectively place trad gear are all some of his favorite things to teach while guiding. Outdoor education through experiential learning is something he has been passionate about since starting climbing outdoors and has experience working with kids and adults of all ages.

He has experience climbing in places like Colorado, Nevada, New York, New Hampshire, Maine and, of course, Vermont. When Jack isn’t rock or ice climbing he enjoys exploring and camping on the snowy slopes of The White Mountains of New Hampshire. You also may see him biking and hiking around Vermont or snowboarding in the winter.
