Petra Cliffs offers team building, outdoor leadership development, and group bonding experiences at the Bolton Adventure Center, a challenge course located at the Bolton Valley Resort in Bolton, VT. We customize our team building and group development activities to meet each groups unique goals, interests, and needs. Petra Cliffs can provide one-of-a-kind experiences for school classes, corporate groups, sports teams, and more.

The Bolton Adventure Center Challenge Course is made up of both low and high elements.
Low elements are primarily used for team problem solving and teambuilding. Low elements can include icebreakers and initiatives for the group to get to know each other, low to the ground games focusing on communication and strategy, and activities like walking on a cable two feet above the ground, working together to navigate through a maze of sorts, balancing on a giant see-saw or swinging on a rope.
Our high elements require helmets and harnesses. We offer several activities that are 30+ feet above the ground. The Giant Swing, Wild Woozy, Catwalk, and Wind Chimes are all examples of high elements. Our Giant Swing is much like a sling shot -- you are pulled back and into the air then at your choice height, release a lanyard that allows you to swing out over the pond -- very exciting and stomach dropping! The high elements are operated at the highest safety standards and can be quite a unique experience in that they aid in confidence and trust building.

The Bolton Adventure Center is located at Bolton Valley Resort and operated by Petra Cliffs. When a program is booked, facilitators meet groups in the Sports Center/Nordic Center parking lot and walk about 5-10 minutes into the challenge course.

Upon booking a program, a "Goals & Needs Assessment" will be sent so that we may learn about your group and tailor your program to its needs.

Programs can be booked anywhere from 2 to 5 hours. Your group size, goals, needs and desired activities will determine the length and price of your program.
