This year the Smuggs Ice Bash hosts its 10th year of the festival, celebrating Vermont’s rich history in winter climbing, which began in the early 1950’s. The festival’s ice climbing clinics teach beginners (no climbing experience necessary) to intermediate and advanced climbers looking to improve their technique, knowledge and experience with professional guides from Petra Cliffs Mountaineering School and Guest Guides from all over the Northeast.
