Rumney Rocks!

Rumney is one of the premier sport climbing destinations in the country. Numerous crags dot the hillside of Rattlesnake Mountain above the town of Rumney, New Hampshire. Each crag is distinct in character but similar in rock type: schist. It is the rock that sets Rumney apart from much of New Hampshire, being the granite state and all! The schist is reminiscent to wood, as the rock crystals form a definite "grain." Rumney offers quality climbs at all grades. From 5.3 to 5.15a, the visiting climber can surely find a challenging and engaging route.

Our guides will showcase some of Rumney’s classic climbs -- a perfect introduction to this amazing location!

Inclusions: Professional rock guide and all technical climbing equipment (harness, helmet, shoes, belay devices, ropes and all other appropriate technical equipment.

Exclusions: Personal gear, food, water and clothing (see equipment list for what to bring)
