Are you someone who has been climbing for a while, but have always been interested in Ice climbing? Are you someone who has been ice climbing a few times but wants to take it a step further? Our Ice Progression Course could be for you! A weekend intensive style program with a heavy focus on improving movement on ice, learning how to set up top rope anchors, practicing rappelling techniques, introducing ice screws and leading concepts, with the opportunity for participants to mock lead! Ready to take your ice climbing to the next level?

Learning Objectives: - Develop proficiency with footwork techniques including french, international and german footworks technique with 1 tool - Comfortability/confidence in ice climbing movement up to WI3+ on top-rope - Ability to set up a basic top-rope anchor with static ropes off of trees - Proficiency with rope and anchor material coiling - Introduction to ice screws and lead climbing concepts - Introduction to rappelling techniques - Introduction to mock leading/opportunities to mock lead
