SumMAT Camp Leader - Summer 2020 Applications now being accepted
Petra Cliffs Climbing Center & Mountaineering School is looking for passionate, self-motivated, creative, and fun people to join our summer camp staff! Summer Mountain Adventure Training Camp (SumMAT Camp – “summit”) is an outdoor adventure camp that gets kids and staff outside every day! This position is full-time Monday – Friday (dates TBA) with one week of staff training running the week prior to the start of camp. Each day of camp will start and end at Petra Cliffs Climbing Center in Burlington, but our adventures take us all over. Every day brings a new activity: indoor and outdoor climbing, caving, kayaking, ropes course climbing / teambuilding, and sailing!
Head Route Setter
The Head Route Setter develops, organizes, and oversees route setting for Petra Cliffs. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the routes set on the climbing walls, which includes, but is not limited to: developing route setting staff, maintaining equipment, ensuring route quality, and making sure setting equipment is organized.
Mini Monkeys Coach
Petra Cliffs Climbing Center & Mountaineering School is looking for passionate, self-motivated, and creative coach to join our Youth Programs staff! Mini Monkeys is a twice weekly after school program that gets kids active and climbing. This position is Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 2:45 pm- 5:15pm.
