Weather Policy

Campers and their families should come to camp each day prepared to be outside in the sun, rain, heat, and shade. Our camp programs operate outdoors in all weather. Please follow the packing list found in this packet for your camper for each camp activity.

Especially early in the summer, campers should also be ready for cool, damp mountain weather, as many of our camp activities operate at higher elevations than our “base camp” at Petra Cliffs Climbing Center in Burlington VT.

*In the instance of dangerous weather (ex: major flooding, thunderstorms, or wildfire smoke), camp logistics may be adjusted and will be communicated to families with as much advanced notice as possible.*
